Who are we?

Established January 1985 as a Makita Factory Service Center. Purchased from Makita in June 2003 by the service manager of 18 years. Located in 'The Big Easy' (New Orleans), Big Easy Tools just seemed like the right name.

We were fortunate enough that Makita saw fit to set us up as a dealer in New Orleans, and as an authorized service center. We are probably the biggest and best stocked authorized service center in the Gulf South. Since taking over from Makita, we have also become an authorized service center for Hitachi, Bostitch, MK Diamond, Eagle Compressor, Rol-Air compressor, and Prime Source (distributor of Grip-Rite and Prime Air Tools and Nails). We service all major brands.

As a relatively new dealer trying to get established, we are constantly shopping for good prices on name brand tools. Our inventory changes regularly, and we have an excellent relationship with all of our vendors, helping us to get good shipping times on special order items. We cannot stock everything at all times, but we order and receive orders daily. Most shipping times are 5 to 10 working days.
